Writers in the Field started with a simple idea: what if there were a fun, affordable way for modern writers to see, smell, hold, and experience some of their more exotic and obscure subjects, all while picking the brains of world-class experts? It’s a zesty notion – but it takes much more than a good idea to pull off an event this ambitious. Here are some of the key players who have committed themselves to bring Writers in the Field to life!
The program is designed to benefit writers of novels and short stories, screenplays, graphic novels/comics, and more, with some craft classes, especially for beginning writers. Our hands-on demos will be useful to writers across genres – including crime/mystery/thriller, historical fiction and romance, science fiction, fantasy, and others.
