By Carma Spence

hallowboo.jpgIf you’re going to be in Pennsylvania this Saturday through the month of October, you might want to spend a day at Idlewild Park in Ligonier, Pa. Considered one of the best kid’s parks in the world, Idlewild will begin this year’s Halloween celebrations this weekend.

According to a press release, “Many of the park’s most popular rides and attractions in Olde Idlewild, Jumpin’ Jungle, Hootin’ Holler, Raccoon Lagoon and Story Book Forest will be completely redesigned and redecorated in fun Halloween themes.” There will also be a variety of family friendly entertainment including Trick or Treating throughout Story Book Forest.

On Oct. 6, kids can join the Radio Disney AM 540 Team for some games, music and prizes. This is the third season that Idlewild is putting on Halloboo!, which will run for five consecutive weekends: Sept. 29-30, Oct. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, and 27-28 from noon to 6p.m.
