Ray Harryhausen will be signing copies of his book The Art of Ray Harryhausen on Monday, July 23 at Mystery & Imagination in Glendale, Calif.

Harryhausen is the master special effects animator behind some of my favorite movies, including The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, Jason and the Argonauts and The 7th Voyage of Sinbad. He’s also the good friend of my very favorite author, Ray Bradbury.
