San Diego in Anaheim?

Just found these headlines:
- Anaheim makes bid to lure Comic-Con from San Diego
- Anaheim wants Comic-Con to go up, up and away from San Diego
- Comic-Con may change hosts when contract with San Diego expires
What could this mean? My first thought is that there may be more media guests because it’s closer to L.A. But, it could also take it further away from its comics roots. What do you think?
Looks like Anaheim isn’t the only city that wants a piece of the Comic-Con action. Los Angeles has jumped into the game, as well:
