NOTE: This website is currently on hiatus. I not sure for how long. Probably until sometime in 2009. I'm re-organizing how the information will be delivered, trying to catch up on some back work, and looking for a better way to make this site your go-to resource for science fiction, fantasy and horror travel information.

My friend, Michael Hinman (well, actually, I've never met him in person. But we email back and forth because write for his website, SyFy Portal) will be at Oasis 20 this weekend as one of the guests. How cool is that?

Of course, he says not to go because of him, because, "I'm a nobody. Instead, if you're looking for something fun to do on a holiday weekend, then come and visit with real guests like authors Joe Haldeman ("The Forever War," "1968"), Mike Resnick ("Kirinyaga," "Widowmakers"), Michael Bishop ("No Enemy But Time," "Brittle Innings"), Nanotech quartet author Kathleen Ann Goonan, Jack McDevitt ("Infinity Beach," "Ancient Shores") and Robert J. Sawyer, the dean of Canadian Science-Fiction."

Anyway, if you do go and you see Mike, tell him "Hi" from me.
