NOTE: This website is currently on hiatus. I not sure for how long. Probably until sometime in 2009. I'm re-organizing how the information will be delivered, trying to catch up on some back work, and looking for a better way to make this site your go-to resource for science fiction, fantasy and horror travel information.

Although the official schedule won't be announced until Thursday,May 10th, the 33rd Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) has already announced one science fiction film being presented.

Slipstream, written and directed by Anthony Hopkins, will first be shown on Tuesday, May 29, at the SIFF Cinema at McCaw Hall at 7 p.m. According to the press release, "This film is an inventive, multilayered journey into the mind of an aging screenwriter whose fictional universe begins to invade his real life. Hopkins’ bold film plays with the nature of cinema and pokes a little fun at the movie business in the process. The film also stars Christian Slater, Jeffrey Tambor, Lisa Pepper and John Turturro."

Slipstream will have an encore screening on May 30 at the Egyptian Theatre at 4pm as part of a special tribute event where Hopkins will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
