NOTE: This website is currently on hiatus. I not sure for how long. Probably until sometime in 2009. I'm re-organizing how the information will be delivered, trying to catch up on some back work, and looking for a better way to make this site your go-to resource for science fiction, fantasy and horror travel information.

Howard is lending his name to this feature documentary about the Apollo space program and the first-ever landing on the moon in partnership with THINKFilm to help promote it to the widest possible audience. It is directed by David Sington. Beginning in the early 1960s with President Kennedy's stated ambition to put an American on the moon before the end of the decade, In the Shadow of the Moon covers the Apollo space program through Apollo 11's successful lunar landing. Ten of the surviving astronauts who journeyed to the moon tell their stories in their own words, accompanied by spectacular NASA footage, much of it never seen before in a feature film, and all of it re-mastered for maximum visual and aural effect. For more information, visit the movie's official website. Exclusive engagements of the film were presented in New York and Los Angeles on Sept. 7, 2007. If you happened to see it, I'd love hear about it.
