Anglicon 2018: The Women of British Media @ The DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport Hotel

Anglicon is a fan-run British media convention with an extra focus on Doctor Who. The convention will take place Friday, November 30th through Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport Hotel.

Additional information regarding memberships, programming, special events, guests and the hotel will be posted here on this website and on our Facebook page right up until the convention, so please like us on Facebook and/or check back here for updates as we continue to plan the premier Doctor Who convention in the Pacific Northwest!

What is Anglicon? Who are you people?

Anglicon is a Seattle-area 501(c)3 organization dedicated to organizing British media conventions to raise funds for the Tacoma PBS affiliate station KBTC. (See the History of Anglicon page for information on previous conventions from 1988 through to 2017)

We are an all-volunteer organization. There are no paid staff positions and all volunteers and officers will buy convention memberships and pay for their hotel rooms just like everyone else. We are fans of Doctor Who and other British media, and want to share our passion with other like-minded fans.

About the author

As The Genre Traveler, Carma Spence loves to view the world through Genre-Coloured glasses. In other words, she sees the world through a lens of science fiction, fantasy, and horror, where trash cans can be Daleks in disguise and neighborhood forests can harbor faeries and sprites. Magic realism is real! Or at least you can choose to see the world that way to add to the fun and awe of life.
