You also might want to sign up for the RSS feed, which you can do via email or your favorite RSS Reader. montreal.jpgThis weekend, at Nippon2007, the 65th Worldcon, in Yokohama, Japan, it was officially announced that the 67th World Science Fiction Convention (or WorldCon) will be held in Montreal, Quebec, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from Aug. 6- 10, 2009. The guest of honor will be Neil Gaiman (The Sandman: Book of Dreams, Good Omens, Fragile Things) and Julie Czerneda (The Trade Pact Universe Trilogy, Web Shifters series, Species Imperative series) will be Master of Ceremonies. The organizing committee for the bid is Anticipation and you can get more information at www.anticipationsf.ca. Congratulations Montreal science fiction fans and all those who worked hard on the bid to bring WorldCon there!
