NOTE: This website is currently on hiatus. I not sure for how long. Probably until sometime in 2009. I'm re-organizing how the information will be delivered, trying to catch up on some back work, and looking for a better way to make this site your go-to resource for science fiction, fantasy and horror travel information.

According to SciFi Wire, The City of New York and Columbia Pictures have announced that the week of April 30 through May 6 will be "Spider-Man Week in NYC." If you partake of any of the festivities planned, including those involving such New York landmarks as the Central Park and Bronx zoos, the American Museum of Natural History and the Apollo Theater, and you snap a good photo, you can enter The 1st Annual Genre Traveler Photo Contest and help raise money for Clarion West. You could also win a cash prize and your photo published in the 2008 Genre Traveler Wall Calendar!

The Spider-Man Week will culminate in the world premiere of Spider-Man 3 at the Tribeca Film Festival in Queens.
