NOTE: This website is currently on hiatus. I not sure for how long. Probably until sometime in 2009. I'm re-organizing how the information will be delivered, trying to catch up on some back work, and looking for a better way to make this site your go-to resource for science fiction, fantasy and horror travel information.

The Halloween season can be so much fun -- if you like to get scared and play dress up, which I do ... at times. :-) So, when I find coverage of the smaller, local haunts, I like to share them with you. halloween_image.jpgYesterday, Mary Thurwachter of The Palm Beach Post, posted a rundown of all the Halloween special events taking place at Florida theme parks. She did such a good job of it that, rather than re-invent the wheel, I'm just going to send you along to her story: Ghoulish getaways

rockandshock.jpgIf you're going to be in the area of Worcester, Pa., then you might want to check out the annual music and horror convention Rock & Shock. "We are not like other boring horror conventions," claims their website. "We were the first to blend horror conventions with music. So while fans can meet their favorite horror film stars, directors, writers and bands during the day -- at night we have well-known national bands performing each night next door at The Palladium…That’s why this event is called Rock & Shock." Guests this year include Shawnee Smith (Saw I, II & III), Tony Todd (Candyman), and several members of Rob Zombie's Halloween cast, among others. For more information, visit www.rockandshock.com.
