What has scales, murk and holds a decent tune? Apparently, the Creature from the Black Lagoon!

Opening in July at Universal Studios Hollywood (Calif.), Creature From the Black Lagoon: The Musical turns the cult classic film into a “campy Broadway-style stage show with special effects, dance choreography and romance,” writes Brady MacDonald, Los Angeles Times staff writer.

The new addition to horror stories turned musicals replaces the Fear Factor stage show at the park.
