Fangoria Radio to Broadcast Live from Weekend of Horrors Event

Fangoria Radio, which I mentioned in my June 23rd post, will be broadcasting live from Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors, to be held Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, 2006, in Secaucus, N.J.

Other highlights include the great list of guests:

  • Charisma Carpenter, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off, Angel, is making her first horror convention appearance.
  • Jeffrey Combs, star of so many horror films, as well as a great stint as Weyoun on Star Trek: Deep Space 9
  • John Saxon, who I have mixed feelings about. I used to have crush on him in the 1970s, but I met him at a convention in L.A. almost 10 years ago and he was such an ass. I don’t think I’ve quite forgiven him for his complete lack of graciousness toward a fan.

Like so many cons, Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors will host a costume contest, as well as guest panel discussions, Fangoria TV screenings, a movie festival and more.

About the author

As The Genre Traveler, Carma Spence loves to view the world through Genre-Coloured glasses. In other words, she sees the world through a lens of science fiction, fantasy, and horror, where trash cans can be Daleks in disguise and neighborhood forests can harbor faeries and sprites. Magic realism is real! Or at least you can choose to see the world that way to add to the fun and awe of life.
