Free Books

Many of the books I receive for review are uncorrected proofs. These books are often riddled with typos and other mistakes and don’t have the final cover. But they are readable. When I’m done reading them, if I don’t want to add them to my collection, I’ve been handing them off to the thrift store. But it has occurred to me that you might be interested in reading them. So, if you’ll pay for postage — about $3 for Media Mail or $5 for Priority Mail — I’d be happy to send one to you. (I can send more than one, but the postage price will differ.)

Below is a list of what is currently available in the SF/F/H categories. If I’ve published a review of the book, it is linked. If you are interested in any of these books, contact me and I’ll give you a link to send me money by PayPal, or information so you can mail me a check. Or you can request the book through GoodReads.com’s Book Swap feature … I’ve already shipped several titles that way! (By the way, the Good Reads Book Swap program is ending Oct. 31, so I’ll be looking for another way to facilitate this.)

A quick note about my reading habits: I gently read books so often they still look pretty new when I’m done. However, because I am reading these for review purposes, I sometimes will fold down the corner of a page or two. I don’t smoke … so you don’t have to worry about these books smelling like an ash tray. I don’t wear perfume either, so no frilly smelling books, either.
