Gallifrey One is the world’s largest and longest-running annual Doctor Who fan convention, a tradition in North American Doctor Who fandom since 1990. Taking place every February over Presidents’ Day Weekend at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport Hotel, our unprecedented thirtieth annual convention, Gallifrey One: 30 Years in the TARDIS, will take place February 15-17, 2019.

When can you buy tickets to the next one? Tickets for our 2019 convention go on sale Saturday April 14, 2018 at 12:00pm (Noon) Pacific Daylight Time, and will once again be sold via EventBrite. We will have the ticket link available here on our website, as well as on Facebook, shortly before ticket sales begin, so stay tuned!

What can you expect from Gallifrey One? A fabulous weekend of fun… from guest speakers from all of the worlds of Doctor Who and its spinoffs, to amazing programming such as Q&As, interviews, live episode commentaries, discussion panels, workshops, and the annual Bob May Memorial Charity Auction. Amazing evening entertainment, from our Saturday night Masquerade of Mandragora costume & fashion show to three full nights of karaoke, late-night panels, main stage performances, social events and a disco. And much more: cosplay in overdrive, a fully-stocked Dealers Room, a classic convention Art Show, video programming, our Gaming Hub, theme parties, photos with guests, autographs, and our famous evening social scene. Gallifrey One brings together nearly four thousand people every February who share a love of all things Doctor Who, pros and fans alike.

About the author

As The Genre Traveler, Carma Spence loves to view the world through Genre-Coloured glasses. In other words, she sees the world through a lens of science fiction, fantasy, and horror, where trash cans can be Daleks in disguise and neighborhood forests can harbor faeries and sprites. Magic realism is real! Or at least you can choose to see the world that way to add to the fun and awe of life.
